Is This Richard?

This remarkable image appears in an ancient work by a Flemish chronicler named Jean de Waurin. It was painted in 1477, when Richard, then Duke of Gloucester, was only in his mid-twenties.The greater scene, not shown here,is of the Court of Edward IV.While King Edward is being presented with a book by its author, elsewhere in the room two figures chat.

The figure on the right has, rightly or wrongly, been identified as Richard of Gloucester. If it is,then this image is perhaps the only contemporary image of him, apart from merely representative drawings and stained glass images whose accuracy is questionable.
