Decipher
After 48 years the files on this subject are incomplete. Many were destroyed back in 2000 and almost all of them in 2013. However there should still be enough information here for you to figure it out.
In brief: There is no 'X marks the spot'. Instead,
the focal point on the chart is demarked by a series of intersecting lines. For
example the two 'g's in 'smugglers' are really inverted '5's, and they join up
with the '55' in the peripheral message. Likewise, notice that the number '20'
crops up twice where most numbers below 100 don't even crop up once. Join up the zeros in
each '20'. All over the map there are letters and otherwise inexplicable symbols
that join up -- and they all go through a single point on the chart, confounding
coincidence by billions to one.

What follows below is a discovery I made which definitively connects the '515 SE and by 50N...' message on Chart 2 with the false longitude marked on Chart 1!
