The children of Alice MARSH and Edward BARRETT were:

1... Mary Jane BARRETT. Born 4 Jul 1884 at Kingston Place, Barnsley, she accompanied her parents to America, sailing with them on the steamer "City of Rome" to New York via Queenstown, Ireland (now Cork) in May 1885. However, traveling in Steerage she caught measles on the voyage and was already very poorly in her mother Alice's arms when she made the journey on the Union Pacific railroad through the mid-west to Ogden, Utah, where upon arrival Alice, exhausted, had to lay on the station platform while her husband Edward went off to find her grandfather Robert LATHROPE. Mary Jane died in the 3rd week of her illness, 20 Jun 1885 at Uintah Salt Flats, Weber, Utah, aged 11 months, and was buried at Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Utah. A hundred years later a stone was erected on her grave by her niece Virginia May EVANS of Los Angeles.

2... Geneva BARRETT. Born 1 Apr 1886 at Uintah Salt Flats, Weber, Utah, U.S.A., she married, on 12 Dec 1906 in Salt Lake City, Thomas Ephriam HARPER. She died 12 Mar 1974 at Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho, U.S.A. and was bur on 15 May 1974 at Anaconda Deer Lodge, Montana. Photo.

3... William BARRETT. Born 22 Sep 1888 at Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho, U.S.A., he married, on 18 Apr 1908 at Pocatello, Sarah Lealer ("Lula") KIDD. He died 17 Aug 1965 at Burley, Cassia, Idaho and was bur on 20 Aug 1965 at Albion, Cassia, Idaho.  Photo.

4... Frederick BARRETT. Born 26 Mar 1891 at Pocatello, Idaho, U.S.A., he married, on 10 Jun 1915 in Salt Lake City, Margaret Elise BALLIF. He died 10 Jun 1976 at Boise, Ada, Idaho, and was bur. there on the 14th. Photo.

5... David BARRETT. Born 21 Feb 1894 at Warm Creek, Bannock, Idaho, he died there 21 Apr 1895 aged 14 months.

6... Frank BARRETT. Born 15 Mar 1896 at Warm Creek, Bannock, Idaho, he married, on 11 Aug 1924 at Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho, Irene Margaret MYERS. He died 28 Apr 1973 at Ontario, Malheur, Oregon, and was bur. on 1 May 1973 at Twin Falls, Idaho.  Photo.

8... John Edward BARRETT. Born 26 Apr 1902 at Albion, Cassia, Idaho, he died there on 3 Oct 1902 aged 5 months.

9...Ellen BARRETT. Born 3 Mar 1905 at Albion, Cassia, Idaho, she married, on 13 Sep 1925 at Albion, Cassia, Heber Harry DANNER. She died 22 Feb 1999 at Oakley, Cassia, Idaho, and was bur. 27 Feb 1999 at Albion, Cassia, Idaho. Photo.
