He married, on 31 Jan 1769, Mary HOMER (born abt 1755), also of Cornworthy, daughter of William HOMER (Chr., in his teens, 7 Aug 1748 at Berry Pomeroy, Devon) and his wife Mary (maiden name unknown). Mary HOMER (Born c.1755) was buried at Cornworthy on 15 Jan 1809. Their children were:
